I'm so glad that I took yesterday off! Today my work lasted me all the way up to lunch time. WhooHoo! Plus I feel extremely energized. I think I will start a "FUNNY STUFF FRIDAY". Let me know if you like it and would want more. It would be stuff like funny articles and videos. Thanks!

Wanted: completely perfect legs.. BUDAPEST (Reuters) - The mayor of one Budapest district wants female City Hall staff to wear miniskirts only if they have "completely perfect legs" and the skirts are no shorter than 2-3 centimeters (about 1 inch) above the knee.Gabor Mitynan, a conservative who runs the wealthy 12th district, also wants male employees to wear blazers in summer, and told the Website (www.index.hu) the dress code was needed because he had seen staff dressed like beggars or vacationers. Mitynan also dislikes crop tops -- popular in Budapest -- saying "few women have well-trained bellies worth showing to people" and wants the city to legislate on stocking thickness, proposing 5-10 denier for summer, 15 for spring and autumn and 20 for winter. Mitynan is a rarity in Budapest's 23 mostly liberal and socialist districts, so his proposals stand almost no chance of being passed by the city assembly. Liberal Budapest Mayor Gabor Demszky described the proposals as "crass," according to the state news agency MTI.

I'M FREEEEE!!!

Thank you all for the advice on taking advantage of the free time at work. So I took your advice and took the day off!     I know I know. That's probably not what you meant by take advantage. But seriously folks, the slow factor at work has been going on for a week! Not only did I revamp my xanga site a thousand times over, but I also found thousands of new sites to add. So... I decided that being productive at home is better than not being productive at work. Have a great day!

DEAD

It is so freaking dead at work today it is unbelievable. I have not had any work to do since 9:00 this morning. I get in at 8:30. Just so you understand how dead it truly is. I'm going nutz! My boss is getting tired of me asking if she has any work for me to do. So Danielle and I watched another episode of Firefly before her burned DVD started to skip. It's a really funny show. Too bad it was cancelled. Luckily they are making a movie! WooHoo! I did do some more editing to my xanga skin. Still not completely satisfied with it, but oh well. I hope you guys like it. I think it will forever be a work in progress. So please ignore my previous post. I don't really have anything to talk about. But I am so freaking bored that I must do something. So please pardon my ramblings.

WEEKEND UPDATE!

SATURDAY

I went to a Woodward Dream Cruise party with Jen from work. Met some cute guys from MSU. Never met any of them before, but we all lived in the same dorm and we were even in the same Engineering program. Small World! Had lots of fun drinking and hangin out.

SUNDAY

Went to the African Fest with my mom. Fun times. I got 2 more books. There is a booth that sells black literature for only $5 per book! I also had jerk chicken with red beans and rice - Yummmmmmmy! It was just nice to walk around and people watch.

MY DREAM LIFE
  
Being a millionaire with my own island in Fiji, preferably Mago Island. I would have a harem of 5 guys. Gotta have some days to myself.   I would have my own plane and be able to fly it myself if I ever got the urge. I would have lots of dogs. Especially a Chinese Crested that I could carry with me everywhere I went. I would travel the world adopting poverty stricken kids. I would learn lots of languages and travel the world. I would go on a Lindblad Expedition... especially to the Galapagos. I'd really like to go on all of the expeditions because you get to see places that only scientists have access to.

I'm sure I could think of more, but these are things that I still hope are attainable.

 

RANDOM RAMBLINGS

It's so freaking slow here at work. And of course my creative juices really aren't flowing right now. So there is absolutely nothing to amuse myself with. I did bring a book, but I doubt I will pull it out after lunch. Why is it when one thing bores me I get bored with everything else? Including myself.

Hey! Has anyone heard of a cartoon called Mr. Bogus? It was out in the early 90s. I have yet to find another human being who has seen this show! I know I'm crazy, but I have an excellent memory. There really isn't much on the web about it. Here is a pic to help jog your memory.
