  • NO POWER?!?!?!?!?!?!

So, I wake up at 5am this morning so that I can make it to the gym by 6. This is the gym that I have the free trial with. See here. About a mile away, right after I cross the bridge near 696 I notice that quite a few street lights and signals are out. On the east side of the road the street lights are out, but the stores all have power. However, on the west side it is completely dark. So, I get to the gym only to find that they also are without power! What?! I got up at 5am and went out into the blistering cold for nothing?! Unbelievable! Oh well... I've been home for about 45 minutes now. I'm gonna go work out with Denise Austin on Lifetime.

    Your Power Animal: Deer

Animal You Were in a Past Life: Panda

    You are a fun-seeker - an adventurous, risk-taker.

While you are spontaneous, you are not very rational.

  • GAS PRICES ARE RIDICULOUS

I have a compact car that gets pretty decent gas mileage. Not that it matters when gas is $2.65 a per gallon. I remember when I could fill my tank up for $8. Now its $25+. Yikes! It's really starting to break the bank! My pal and coworker DanniiMarie is even preparing to move so that she can be closer to work, therefore saving a bindle on gas. Maybe I should get a horse. LOL

Two Teens Ride Horses to School in Utah

Frustrated by rising gas prices, two high school teens got fed up and decided to saddle up.
Mellissa Evans and Chapa Stevenson made their 30-mile roundtrip trek to school last week on their horses, Nighthawk and Wink. The seniors live in Rush Valley, a town of about 500 people 45 miles southwest of Salt Lake City.
"When you have a car that gets 10 miles per gallon, you have to do something," Evans said.
The trusty steeds spent their days in a stall inside the high school's animal laboratory.
On Thursday school officials stepped in, telling the girls that horses on school grounds were against the rules.
"I guess we'll have to go back to carpooling," Evans said.
Evans' mother, Karren, is disappointed her daughter can't ride her horse to school anymore.
"It took hours for her to get to school," she said. "But hay is much cheaper than gas."

  • You Are 50% Boyish and 50% Girlish

You are pretty evenly split down the middle - a total eunuch.

Okay, kidding about the eunuch part. But you do get along with both sexes.

You reject traditional gender roles. However, you don't actively fight them.

You're just you. You don't try to be what people expect you to be.

Yikes!! That's interesting. I've been told I'm kinda girlie. What do you think?

  • So I have been knitting *scarves* like a fiend the past couple of days. Trying to get ready for a pre-Christmas bazaar here at work. I will probably sell them for $15. I'll take some pics for you to see when I have more. My goal is to knit 5 a week. So, I should have between 20 and 30 by the time this event rolls around.

On another note. Here is a pic of my very first flower garden. I actually have a green thumb!
025_25Ignore that patch on the lower right. Part of it is a dead zone. Absolutely nothing will grow there. My mom actually told me to get a garden gnome to put there. LOL The other part I suspect is due to the bad ass neighbor kid's basketball. I just want it clear that the deead area you see is not my fault in any way, shape, or form.

  • QUESTION FOR THE GUYS OUT THERE:

Would you be embarrassed to recieve flowers from a female?

  • Your World View
You are a cautious type, neutral, and rather insecure.
You would agree with the idea that everybody has his price...
And in your own case it would not be high.

You are ruled by an inferiority complex and not easy to assess.
How do you present yourself to the world?
An idealist, a moralist, a conformist keeping up with the Joneses?
