  • Sorry I haven't updated in a while. Not that I think you care, since you hardly ever reply to my posts. And when you do comment you never respond to my questions. Thanks!

Been really busy at work. Which is a good thing actually. I can't stand being bored. This is pretty ironic since bored is practically a constant for me. I even bore myself. Oh Well... enough self-deprecating.

    Taken from Mirriam-Webster Online.

    Main Entry: cu·bi·cle
    Pronunciation: 'kyü-bi-k&l
    Function: noun
Etymology: Latin cubiculum, from cubare to lie, recline
1 : a sleeping compartment partitioned off from a large room
    2 : a small partitioned space; especially : CARREL

I HATE cubicles!!! They are nothing but germ-filled death traps created for the soul purpose of making me insane!!!

I actually had the thought that if I acted crazy enough I could go live in an insane asylum and be quite content. I kept thinking about the free meals, free tv, free clothes, free medication and the no responsibilites. Of course I don't know how 'free' an insane asylum really is. I think I'll do some research. I need to just check-out of life for a few years. That would be so nice.

SURVEY: Would you ever voluntarily go to an insane asylum to live?

  • Sweetheart, it's called taking a vacation. We all need them every once in a while. An insane asylum? No thanks. I'm sure you'll be fine out here with the rest of us, though.

  • I agree with StoneColdBrown. It sounds like you need some downtime. I suggest you sit back, take a break, and just chill for awhile. My vote would also be a "No," on that whole insane asylum thing. I've actually been to one, but only voluntarily mind you. It was during an internship for one of my psychology classes. It was very creepy observing people who were certifiably disturbed. I remember talking to a lady who had been diagnosed with schizophrenia. She was convinced that she was on a mission from the Pope out to save the world from aluminum foil, that she was the reincarnation of Jesus Christ, and that her brother was being held hostage by the CIA. As funny as this sounds, I wouldn't ever want to go back there again.
