“To deny our impulses is to deny the very thing that makes us human.”
Not sure who said this, but I must of thought it was a great quote since I wrote it in my quote book. LOL (Just after I typed this, I remembered that it came from the first Matrix movie.) But just imagine, if human beings didn’t deny some of their most base impulses. Does not wanting to deny yourself make you greedy?

I like that quote.
and you’re right, if we didn’t deny ourselves somethings we would be very greedy.
*hugs*
Thanks for your nice comments!!!
LOL naw I dont think that was planned.
i’m not sure I agree with that quote. The ability to deny ourselves of our impulses is what defines us as human. Animals cannot help themselves. If they get a strong urge to do something, they do it. They don’t debate the consequences and rationalize the outcomes the way we humans do.
