  • Weekend Update

    Friday: Got off work @ 11:30am. Fantastic!!!! Went home and napped, then went and got my hair done.

    Saturday: Cleaned basement some more. Still not finished, but at least it is livable now. Then went with mom and bought a 51" TV for the new hang-out space.

    Sunday: Barbequed most of the early afternoon. Mom puts on all the spices and does any cleaning of meat, I tend the fire and turn. Menu - Brauts, hot dogs, steak, ribs, chicken shish kabobs, shrimp & sausage shish kabobs, and some pineapple spears.

    Monday: Went over to mom's friends house to learn about HDTV. Got a free, slightly used XM radio and a copy of Syriana and Failure to Launch. FTL is funny and interesting. Also had my first French 75 (Cognac and Champagne). Not bad. Glad I wasn't driving. LOL

    Tuesday: I did absolutely nothing until about 3pm when we went to see The DaVinci Code at the thater. I liked the book a lot better. I just couldn't get over what a bad casting choice Tom Hanks was!!!!!

    Well... that was my weekend in a nutshell. How was yours??

  • I agree - the movie wasn't as good as the book. And what was up with the ending? It was so weird. Oh well. :)

    RYC: Yes, I'm sure you could use a bagel or a muffin or pretty much any bread substance in place of an English muffin.

  • I still need to read the Davinci Code.  I want a free slightly used XM radio!

  • I still haven't seen Davinci and everyone I know says the book is so much better so maybe I will just read the book and skip the movie.  That is, if I ever get enough time to read the book, which I probably won't.

    RYC: Oh, yeah.  He's definitely just a fling.  This is one guy that you definitely don't want to date because he cheats without a conscience apparently.  But... it WAS fun!

    i'm not looking. I'm keeping my arms open and i hope one will walk right into them. That can happen at anytime, at anyplace. If it rl, good, if it's online, real time is always possible later. Online i chat in rooms on yahoo messenger. Rl i live my life i go to clubs, meetings, dates,..

  • I still need to read Davinci Code too. Yea Tom Hanks was a bad cast.

  • HDTV is awesome. Although there's only a small handful of HDTV stations. You'll end up watching so much discovery channel.
