  • Advice Needed

So I went on a date yesterday and I had a great time. We got ice cream at the Dairy Queen. LOL Met the guy at dance class, which was cool. Later though, I found out that he's 40. He doesn't look anywhere near 40. I originally guessed 28-30. By the way I'll be 25 in July. Does age really matter? Have you ever dated a man/woman significantly older than you? How did it go?

  • I hear that couples of significantly different age groups have really good looking kids. ;)

(My parents are 15 years apart too. I think my mom was 28 and my dad was 43 when they got married.)

  • To a point - I don't think it matters at all. I think it's a little creepy when 70 and 80 year old men marry 20 year olds.

  • Wow.  Congrats on the date, any date involving ice cream is a good one for me.  LOL.  I dont think age is an issue in itself, it all just depends on how you two get along and interact.  Is he too old maturity wise?  I think as long as you have a great time together and he doesnt act too old for you and you wouldnt know the difference otherwise, then why worry?

  • Blah, doesn't matter that much when you're older. 40 and 25 is ok.

  • Hey thanks for the comment. Does age matter? Ummmm... sometimes it does. Sometimes it doesn't. I'd bang a 40 year old MILF if she's nice'n hot -- but having a long-term relationship?... maybe not.

You do what feels right, screw what everyone says. Ya hear me?

  • naw I dont think it doesnt matter too much either.
