  • The last power outtage we had in Los Angeles (outtage of about 2 hours) caused near-petulance in the city. The Mayor had to declare a state of emergency, traffic lights went out and so it took 3 hours for people to drive 8 miles, and Downtown Los Angeles had to evacuate each and every skyscrapper. The news (rolling eyes, Fox "News") actually used the words "Chaotic Disaster."  We might as well have a telathon!! Geeze this city needs to get real.

  • I tried your little quiz and it said that I "matched" Nichole Kidman's musical taste. I viewed her entire list and only liked two out of the 18 songs. That quiz is a little off, I think.

  • yes, i worked as a chaplain-intern at a womens prison for about half a year.  basically, all i did was counsel (primarily listen to) hurting and victimized inmates.  it was a very transformative time for me.
